How to reach La Cristalera

From Plaza de Castilla (Madrid): BUS + TAXI 

The easiest way to get to the workshop from Madrid is by bus from Plaza de Castilla Bus Station to Miraflores de la Sierra. 

• The bus number is 725 and it takes one hour from Plaza Castilla to Miraflores de la Sierra.
• The bus stop is Miraflores de la Sierra-Centro Social. It is the only one in Miraflores, but not the last one on the route. Ask the driver in case of doubts, or use the Google Maps location provided.
  
• The bus price is around 5.10 euros and the tickets can be purchased directly from the bus driver.
  
• The bus platform is number 28 on the -3 level of Plaza Castilla Bus Station.
• The departure bus frequency is 30 minutes. Find below the timetables.
• Line 725 admits luggage on board (in other bus lines of Madrid, restrictions may apply). 
  

• The organization covers the trip upon arrival (Miraflores de la Sierra to La Cristalera ) and departure (La Cristalera to Miraflores de la Sierra). Additional services have a fixed taxi fare of 10 euros for each trip.
• To make use of the service, once at the bus drop-off location, you can call the taxi driver.

• The trip can be shared with other participants (maximum 4).  Please, try to gather in the largest possible groups.
• The bar "La Línea" is in front of the bus stop, shall you need to wait for a taxi.
  

From Atocha Train Station: METRO + BUS + TAXI

From Atocha, one should take the Metro to Plaza de Castilla and, then, follow the instructions above for BUS + TAXI. 

• Take Line 1 (light blue line) from Atocha Station to Plaza de Castilla Station. It takes around 35 minutes.
• The price is between 1 and 3 euros and the tickets can be purchased in the same metro station.

From Chamartín Train Station: METRO + BUS + TAXI

From Chamartin, one should take the Metro to Plaza de Castilla and, then, follow the instructions above for BUS + TAXI.

• Take Line 1 (light blue line) or Line 10 (dark blue line) from Chamartin Station to Plaza de Castilla Station. It takes around 9 minutes.
• The price is between 1 and 3 euros and the tickets can be purchased in the same metro station.

From Adolfo Suárez Airport: TAXI or METRO + BUS + TAXI

• The simplest and fastest way to reach the venue from the airport is by taxi. It takes around 45 minutes and costs around 80 euros. Please, contact us if you are interested in this option to arrange a service in advance.
• Another option would be to take the Metro from the airport to Plaza Castilla. For that, take Line 8 to Colombia Station and then Line 9 to Plaza de Castilla.  From Plaza de Castilla follow the instructions for BUS + TAXI. The total trip would take between 1.5 and 2 hours. There is a €3,- surcharge for trips from and to the airport subway stations.
